Join Mrs Christmas in her enchanted grotto and savour the seasonal delights of buttery mince pies, gingerbread cookies, cinnamon spiced mulled wine and warming winter chutney as you browse through the unique handmade gifts and crafts at the Annual Christmas Market hosted by Powerscourt National School from 12 noon to 8pm on Sunday 12th December next. Make your Christmas gifts extra special this year by choosing something unique for family and friends from the huge selection of handmade foods, Christmas decorations, jewellery and crafts and bring your family to enjoy carol singing, face painting and to meet Mrs Christmas in her grotto.
Nothing beats the comforting taste and quality of homemade Christmas treats and the food stalls at this year’s market will include seasonal plants and vegetables, local jams and chutneys, mince pies, Christmas cakes and puddings, cookies, truffles and Christmas cupcakes. Twinkling Christmas lights and cheery Carol singers will create the perfect atmosphere to help shoppers choose a personal gift from the wide selection of handmade crafts and jewellery on sale from local craftspeople throughout the day.
The Enniskerry Christmas Market takes place in the heart of Enniskerry village. Everyone is welcome to visit and enjoy the festive atmosphere and free parking is available throughout the day at Bog Meadow. The charming village of Enniskerry is easily accessed by car from the N11/M11 and only 25 minutes from Dublin or by the 44 and 185 bus routes.
